More than 10 earthquakes rattle the Central Valley
More than 10 earthquakes rattled the area near Patterson in Stanislaus County throughout Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The largest quake, 4.4 magnitude, was reported at 9:13 p.m. near Westley, an incorporated area located about 7 miles southeast from Patterson. There were no immediate reports of damage caused by the quake, which was detected at a depth of about 1.7 miles underground.
A USGS shake intensity map of the Bay Area showed the tremors could be felt in parts of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose and shake alerts were sent to phones seconds after the shaking began.

At 10:27 p.m., a 2.0 magnitude quake was reported 6 miles southwest of Patterson
At 10:25 p.m., a 3.2 magnitude quake was reported 10.6 miles southwest of Patterson
At 10:06 p.m., a 1.6 magnitude quake was reported 10 miles southwest of Patterson
At 9:48 p.m., a 2.1 magnitude quake was reported 8 miles southwest of Patterson
At 9:43 p.m., a 1.8 magnitude quake was reported about 7 miles southwest of Westley
At 9:40 p.m., a 3.1 magnitude quake was reported 9.9 miles southwest of Patterson
At 9:17 p.m., a 1.9 magnitude quake was reported about 11 miles southwest of Patterson
At 8:44 p.m., a 3.6 magnitude quake was reported 9.3 miles southwest of Westley
At 5:15 p.m., a 4 magnitude quake was reported 1.2 miles northwest of Diablo Grande, an unincorporated area located 12 miles from Patterson
At 5:15 p.m., a 4.1 quake was reported 8.7 miles southwest of Westley
